What a memorable trip it was...
It was my 3rd visit to Kodai.. & the place has mesmerized so much that if I get a long break from my work.. I would love to visit this place all over again...
I simply love to spend the evening at the lake side in Kodai.
Since it was winter when I had been there, the whole Kodai was smothered with thick cloudy snow. The downside of this effect was that we missed the Green valley view of many of the breathtaking spots in here... But the sight of the sceneries covered with snowy clouds is an other kind of out of the world experience. Take a look at another breath taking snap.The Guna caves or the Devil's Kitchen spot has been shut down completely for public viewing now as there were too many accidental deaths happening.
Silver cascade is another spot which is a great watch.
Kodai has good infra structure in terms of good hotels, lodges, transportation.Kodai is located on the southern crest of the upper Palani hills near Madurai in Tamilnadu,INDIA.
All in all, a great vacation spot... Perfect for the Honeymoon makers :)
