Decoding Upendra's UI - UI ಮಾತುಕಥೆ/ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ UI full movie review

CTRL Review by Neha Madhukar

I recently watched this movie called Ctrl which is a take on AI and how it might take control, hence the name ctrl) in all the wrong ways.

the movie stars Ananya Pandey and Vihaan Samat, Nella, and Joe are a popular social media influencer couple. When he cheats on her, she turns to an AI app to erase his digital existence on her computer and social media. However, the maker of the AI secretly begins to take control of her data and life, illegally invading her privacy.

the format of the movie is somewhat similar to The Searching a 2018 American screen life mystery thriller film directed by Aneesh Chaganty

I read quite a few reviews about this movie and noticed that it didn't have a lot of great reviews which makes sense, because of the ending

it might seem quite slow at some intervals and did fail to keep me engaged at times, but the theme of the movie was quite fascinating, now everyone knows that meta specifically Instagram and also YouTube track your activity and algorithm, based on what type of content you engage with, the recommendations are tailored and personalized to the user, although the series of events that occur throughout the movie are exaggerated, it does remind us of the social media that we interact with on an everyday basis

SPOILER ALERT

at the end of the movie, despite the app ruining her life, she stays away from it for a certain period of time but she is slowly drawn back in when she sees an advertisement of the same, now everyone thought that this was extremely ridiculous and stupid and i kind of agree, i thought the same when i first watched it, but the more i thought about it, i realised that, we uninstall Instagram because it consumes too much of our time and we waste our time scrolling on reels, or we might deactivate our accounts during an exam but we still reinstall in a few days later. failing to stay away, it feels dangerously relatable which to me makes it interesting and worth watching once

this movie made me want to write a blog after almost a year.

The best feel good romcoms

it's been exactly a month since Valentine's Day, but tis romcom season!
there is nothing like cozying up after exams and watching a romantic comedy.

1. we're starting with Googly, one of the most popular iconic Kannada movies. starring Yash and Kriti Karbhanda, this is one of those movies that was a blockbuster and is still now one of the most iconic movies he has ever starred in.
Sharath and Swathi meet in Bangalore and fall in love but due to misunderstandings, they drift apart. Two years later, destiny brings them face-to-face at a friend's wedding.
googly is available on Sunxt.

sandalwood has impeccable romcoms!

2. paramathma starring our beloved appu, Aindrita Ray and Deepa Sannidhi. these are all iconic movies that I've been watching since I was a little girl. param which is the character appu plays is again one of the most iconic characters, one of my favourite comfort movies, you could watch it for the 100th time and still never be bored.
Sharath and Swathi meet in Bangalore and fall in love but due to misunderstandings, they drift apart. Two years later, destiny brings them face-to-face at a friend's wedding.
paramathma is available on disney+ hotstar

jackie was recently re-released by KRG Productions, even though its not exactlty a romcom. it is worth an honourable mention.

3. Jab we met- now for a little mix of other languages, i had watched jab we met when i was a kid probably, but i had no memory of it whatsoever.. when my boards just ended, the last subjet was math and right after math i wanted to unwind and i absolutely loved it. it was a nice hopeful, witty romance. and shahid kapoor in that era was perfection.and i know that it is a comfort movie for many and i can certianly undestand why, one of those iconic evergreen movies, and now definitely one of my favourites too.  .While they miss their train, Geet and Aditya begin a journey together to her home and what follows is a love that changes them.

4. Wake up Sid- i watched 2 movies in one day hehe.. but this movie was everything, wake up sid felt more relatable and seemed more realistic. and since i watched both jab we met and wake up sid in the same day, i ended up comparing the two. this seemed more motivational. these were the eras of bollywood where they produced movies that were actually good and had a lot of meaning to them.. i loved the story and the characters especially aisha's and of course the protagonist siddharth himself who experiened a lot of growth. i wish i could live in the aesthetics of this movie. and i think i resonate with this more.

5. how to Lose a Guy in 10 Days- this movie is so wholesome.
the plot line of this movie is so funny, Matthew Macchoaney is charming, and Kate Hudson's acting is so witty and fun. this movie is inspired by a guidebook of the same name. I had no idea about it. I found out about it myself while writing this blog.
one of the most iconic movies that have defined pop culture.
kate Hudson's character Andie is a writer for a women's magazine and she makes a bet that she can make a guy fall in love with her in 10 days and get him to break up with her. which is basically the do's and don't's in dating, but obviously, they end up falling in love. which results in the most wholesome and hilarious scenes.

Varaaha roopam song has been replaced

The Varaaha Roopam song has been replaced with a different tune keeping the lyrics same in its OTT release version on Amazon Prime.

This different tune is also sounding good in its own way but the fans will surely be disappointed that the song version most enjoyed by all in the theatres is no longer part of the OTT version of the film release.

It’s clear that this step has been taken up by the Kaantara  team and Amazon prime to avoid any legal hassles. If you recall the Malayalam Navarasam song makers music band Thaikudum bridge had taken up the matter in a court case to get their due credit for the tune used in this song.

However the original version of the Varaaha roopam song is still available for you to listen on the audio album in YouTube.

Subscribe to Amazon prime here to watch Kaantara now.

Bahubali scenes actually copied from several Hollywood films.

A twitter user has complied an interesting video edit which clearly shows that Bahubali movie by SS Rajamouli has copied several action scenes and footages from multiple Hollywood movies and spun it into a 2 part movie. However we do not undermine the greatness of the Indian film maker and the film in itself is an interesting insight into how inspiration can be taken and be perceived into something that results in a positive outcome. Several movies like Avatar, Hercules, avengers, 300, god of war gameplay footages have been used as an inspiration to make the biggest and the greatest Indian movie on screen.

Comment your thoughts on this in the comments section.

Avatar 2: The Way Of The Water trailer and when its going to be out! -By Neha

oh my god. the avatar trailer was released in theatres, specifically while watching doctor strange in the multiverse of madness. and the official trailer was out  and people say that the character na'vi is kate winlet's character. but we don't actually know anything as of now, i guess we'll get assurance when we watch the actual movie in theatres. but yeah it basically took cameron 13 years to film the sequel, and turns out kate winlet is also going to be playing a role in this movie. Jake Sully and Ney'tiri have formed a family and are doing everything to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore the regions of Pandora. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake must fight a difficult war against the humans.

Avatar: The Way of Water (colloquially known as Avatar 2) is an upcoming American epic science-fiction film directed by James Cameron. and apparently there are 3 more movies added to the sequel. The film's theatrical release has been subject to eight delays, with the latest occurring on July 23, 2020; it is currently planned for a release on December 16, 2022, with the following three sequels to be released, respectively, on December 20, 2024, December 18, 2026 and December 22, 2028.On October 3, 2017, it was reported that Kate Winslet, who starred in Cameron's Titanic (1997), had joined the cast of Avatar 2, and possibly its sequels. Cameron commented, "Kate and I had been looking for something to do together for 20 years, since our collaboration on Titanic, which was one of the most rewarding of my career", and added that her character was named Ronal. Although the nature of her character was originally unknown, Cameron stated the following month that Ronal was "part of the Sea People, the reef people", in reference to the Na'vi clan of Metkayina, making Avatar 2 Winslet's first role via performance capture, or motion capture altogether, which she was looking forward to; as she insisted on performing all her character's movements herself, she, like the child cast, had to learn free-diving for the film.Winslet, who had been notoriously reluctant about working with Cameron again because of the complicated situations he puts his actors in for their scenes, stated that Cameron proposed the role to her in July 2017 when he came to help her and their fellow Titanic collaborator Leonardo DiCaprio at a fundraiser in France, sending her the scripts shortly after. She commented that her role was "relatively small comparative to the lengthy shoot", as she would only have one month of shootings, but also "a pivotal character in the ongoing story". On April 30, 2018, Kate Winslet had "just a couple days" of shooting left to do.[97] While filming an underwater scene, Winslet held her breath for over seven minutes, breaking the record for longest breath held while shooting a film scene underwater, a record previously held by Tom Cruise for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. In May 2018, Saldaña stated that filming was "kind of only halfway done" and that the crew is "about [to finish] motion capture production on the [second and third] movies, and then after that, they go straight into pre-production for the live-action part that would shoot for six months in New Zealand." Saldaña finished shooting her scenes on June 8, for both Avatar 2 and its sequel, while Cameron stated around the same time that 130 days of performance capture had been shot.On November 14, 2018, Cameron announced filming with the principal performance capture cast had been completed. and plus this is the only movie close to titanic 2 that I'm gonna get, so gonna have to watch this movie a million times too, i mean it's set in the water, and kate winslet is in it, the perfect cherry on top would be if leonardo dicaorio would also be in this film. and maybe then he could even change the storyline into jack and rose in this kind of world, and- ok im getting way too carried away, back to topic. yeah so this is the only thing close to titanic 2 that were gonna get so have to savour it all we can. the movie is coming out in December 16 2022, cant wait until then. and yeah im definitely watching it at least 5 times in the theater, because who knows when this movie's gonna be out on ott. and i just know this movie is going to be amazing, the graphics and the sfx everything is just top notch, and i really like the storyline of this movie. and well we can always trust james cameron, i mean he wrote titanic which was the highest grossing movie of all time, and then he wrote avatar which is still the highest grossing movie of all time even to this day. and i mean i love avatar too of course but titanic is always titanic to me, it got me through some things and it made me realise how we take today for granted, when we dont know if there's tomorrow, so fall in love, hang out with your friends and let go of the things you've been holding on. because you might not be here tomorrow, so live life to the fullest. and oh my god the dialougesn in titanic, and avatar too, the guy is amazing. but i mean i agree its a scam, jack shouldn't have died. but i guess that's the entire purpose of the movie, that rose didn't want to live but after she met jack she was full of life and laughter. and he made her realise the smallest joys of life are the most important ones, its as if he was her guardian angel. she lived for him and he died for her. i got wayyy off topic right there, anyway that's it for this blog i hope you guys liked it, im gonna go cry and i'll see you guys in the next one, ciao!

some of the best kannada movies that you must watch! -By Neha

Kannada movies have been popularised by kgf and that makes me so proud as a Kannadiga of course, there are so many other Kannada movies that are actually amazing and some of the people have been missing out but I'm taking this as an opportunity to share some of the most amazing Kannada movies that I have seen ever since I was born honestly.

1. Drama- if you guys are looking to watch more of Yash's films, this is a great one, it's one of his early appearances when he first joined the Kannada film industry. and it was amazing, the amount of comedy in this movie is amazing, and of course, the story is quite different than what you guys usually see. Venkata, a young student, falls in love with his classmate, Nandini. One day, she kisses Venkata and in return asks him to take revenge on the principal for slapping her in front of everyone. and the movie is directed by yograj bhat and he creates top-notch fantastic movies that everyone has seen and loved over time. Drama is a 2012 Indian Kannada romantic comedy thriller written, directed, and co-produced by Yogaraj Bhat under the banner Yogaraj Movies. and the songs in this movie, oh my god are just so beautiful and mesmerizing and it makes you want to listen to it over and over again and not get enough of it. and I certainly love this movie. and if you guys want to watch it it's on youtube and probably on sun nxt.

2. Gaalipata- oh my god, this movie has been so popular for so long and the sequel to this movie is coming out really soon! I've seen this movie with my family probably about 10 times, well at least 10. and I'm never tired of it, it's about three friends who are on vacation and they meet 3 women and fall in love with them while staying on the vacation. Ganesh, Diganth, and Kitty arrive in Mugilupete to stay at Diganth's grandfather's farmhouse. However, there Ganesh falls in love with Sowmya, a widow who stays with her in-laws, Kodandaram and Padma. and the songs in this movie are so iconic, this movie was released in 2008, 14 years ago, and I actually didn't realize but this movie was also directed by yograj bhat, the proof that he creates amazing unforgettable movies that all of us love. Gaalipata is a 2008 Indian romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Yogaraj Bhat. the actors have done their jobs amazingly. and if you guys wanna watch gaalipata, it's on Disney plus Hotstar.

3. Milana- calling all Puneeth Rajkumar fans to this one! Milana is an amazing movie and it brings all of us nostalgia when we watch it and we sure know how to vibe to the songs in this one. this movie is also very popular but it's all popular for a reason, and the dialogues in this movie are very well written. you guys are going to have to watch the movie to find out the reason. and the story is beautiful and the way it's all portrayed is amazing. Anjali's father forces her to marry Akash. Unable to forget her past, she demands a divorce from Akash, but soon begins to fall for him. and the way he falls for her is soo aaahhhhh undescribable. and the songs are so beautiful and have such meaning and I'm sure there are 2 love interests in this movie, and no that is not a spoiler and you guys should watch this movie to tell me if it's a spoiler or not. Milana ( transl. Rendezvous) is a 2007 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Prakash, starring Puneeth Rajkumar. and Puneeth Rajkumar's acting is always on spot and never fails. and apparently, it run an entire year in the theater. milana is on zee 5 if you guys wanna watch it.

4. Jackie- oh my god, Jackie is one of my favorite films, man Puneeth Rajkumar sure knows how to pick em... the movies I mean- Jackie is a man who lives by his wits and reaches out to people to solve their problems. But he lands himself in trouble when he is suspected of helping a priest's daughter elope with her lover. and I can't even describe any of the songs. they're so amazing, and the dialogues are top-notch, and the story, the comedy, and the friendship with Rangayana Raghu. and his innocence in this film is just so adorable. and oh my god it was beautiful. and of course, everyone knows the most iconic song in this movie... Jackie. now it doesn't matter if you're a Kannadiga or not but if you live in Karnataka at least you must've definitely heard this song at least once. and if you're a Kannadiga who hasn't heard this song, are you even a Kannadiga at all? It is also considered one of the trend-setter films in the Kannada film industry. One of the landmark movies in Puneeth Rajkumar's career. and if you guys want to watch it, it's on youtube and probably sun nxt. but this movie is definitely a must-watch. it was released in 2010, so it's around 12 years old. this movie is seriously magnificent.

5.  love mocktail: I've been talking about a lot of old movies, let's get into the millennial side of the movies now. I'm sure you guys must have heard of this movie, it became viral in 2020 and everyone i knew had seen this movie, and to everyone who hasn't seen it, you guys probably don't know the story, its about aditya who keeps finding love in different stages of his life, and when none of those work out he finds this someone else and realises how much she cares for him and falls in love with him, and you guys have to find out what happens next...
After rescuing a woman, Adi reminisces about his love life and tells her about all the heartbreaks he endured in his quest to find his true love. Love Mocktail is a 2020 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed and written by Darling Krishna in his directorial debut. i love the songs in this movie by raghu dixit, really melodious and pleasant. this is probably my 4th favourite movie (after titanic, paramathma and jackie of course) every single scene of adi and nidhi gives you butterflies in your stomach, and it makes you realise the special and small moments in life are the most important and those who really matter. love mocktail is on amazon prime if you guys wanna watch it.

6. upendra- yeah i know the name is the name of the actor in this movie. the movie is really good. and i believe this movie has 3 love interests so...and there are also 3 different stories and in each different story he learns something different.. or a different moral, and the end is quite unexpected. Upendra is a 1999 Indian Kannada-language psychological thriller film written and directed by Upendra. It starred Upendra, Raveena Tandon, Prema and Damini. it came out in 1999. there was one dialouge in this movie that made me sure that i loved this movie for sure, yeah it includes titanic. of course it does.Upendra is a 1999 Indian Kannada-language psychological thriller film written and directed by Upendra. It starred Upendra, Raveena Tandon, Prema and Damini. and the song i love to use in certtian circumstances called MTV subbalakshmige bari olu is also from this movie, which means lying or rather bluffing. and the song was super popular in the 90's as well and so was the movie. which is why a second part to upendra came out called uppi but if I'm being honest, the first movie is so much better than the second movie. not saying the second movie wasn't nice or that i didn't like it but the first movie is so much better, it has much more story and much more plot in it, the second movie is.... well just kind of very unrealistic i guess, and of course upendra is also very unrealistic, like watch the movie you'll understand. but its unrealistic in a kind of way that means something but uppi is just unrealistic in a way that makes no sense. and I'm also not going to say everyone is going to and will like this movie but its amazing in a way mostly people with a sharp mind get. (or at least that's what they say ;)   )  and upendra is on sun nxt if you guys wanna watch it.

7. Mr and Mrs Ramachari- oh my god this movie is so amazing i love this movie so much, this is definitely my 5th favourite movie, the father and son sentiment, the romande and the love and the heartbreak, everything is just so emotional and has meaning. and the songs are the best part. my personal favorite is the title song of course, and there's that line in the song, nor adi cut outge haara biddahaagide hudgni neenu bandamele. After Divya becomes a victim of college bullies, Ramachari saves her and they fall in love. However, they part ways when Divya begins to question his way of life.Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari is a 2014 Indian Kannada romantic action comedy film written and directed by Santhosh Ananddram. the story is so simple yet is very emotional and relatable and it makes you connect to the characters on so many levels. which is why this movie is so popular. and it came out in 2017. and well there's another reason i love this movie so much.... my mom's brother was in this movie, so well a proud moment. mr and Mrs ramachari is on youtube and sun nxt if you guys wanna watch it.

8.  paramathma- oh my god this movie is the best, paramathma is also in my favourite's list of course, the story is about a really rich guy who's in college with his friends and one of his close friends likes him but he has his heart set on another girl. Param is a rich young man who falls in love with Deepa. He soon discovers that his friend Sanvi is in love with him and tries to clear the air between them. Paramathma is a 2011 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film written, directed and co-produced by Yogaraj Bhat. yeah most of the best movies are directed by yograj bhat. and the songs in this movie are indescribable. there's that one song called college gate, and it was popular amongst college students and high school students in 2011. which is when it was released. I've grown up watching puneeth rajkumar's movies, and when i rewatched this one it definetly hit different, on an emotional level. and the love story, the romance and the friendship and everything is just on a whole different level. paramathma is on disney plus hotstar if you guys wanna watch it.

9. googly- this movie is also definetly one of my favourite movies of all time, well you can also call this movie the greatest of all time. every kannadiga has seen this movie, and its so good, again the romantic aspects in this movie is so beautiful and relatable and the heartbreak oh my god. and the songs are groovy and you cant stop listening to them. especially the googly song. Googly is a 2013 Indian Kannada language romantic comedy film directed by Pavan Wadeyar and produced by Jayanna Combines, starring Yash and Kriti Kharbanda.Sharath and Swathi meet in Bangalore and fall in love but due to misunderstandings, they drift apart. However, few years later, destiny brings them face to face at a friend's wedding. googly is on sun nxt and youtube if you guys wanna watch it.

10. Rajakumara- and the last but definetly not the least, rajakumara his movie is amazing, it is literally perfect. however you may describe perfect as. the story is about a rich adopted guy, with a perfect family and who has an amazing relathionship with his dad. but he falls in love with a girl, but his father wants him to get married to someone else, After losing his family, Siddharth learns about the various issues that they faced. He decides to take care of the people at an old age home but Jagannath attempts to foil his plans. this is the same director who shot Mr and Mrs Ramachari hence it being such a big success. siddhart's kind heart and the way he treats everyone with care and concern in the old age home, it's all astonishing. Raajakumara ( transl. The Prince) is a 2017 Indian Kannada language action drama film written and directed
Santosh Ananddram.

Thats it for this blog, i hope you guys liked this blog and you guys have to watch all these movies, trust me its worth it. and I'll see you guys in the next one, ciao!

kgf chapter 3 updates. -By Neha

We all know and love kfg. KGF was first released in 2018 and it was a big hit worldwide. and of course, you guys know that chapter 2 came out quite recently and it was even more successful than the first one, which made around 1,200 crores, now I'm pretty sure most of you have seen kgf chapters 2 and 1, or at least chapter 1. and well the dialouges are certainly top notch.

so you guys probably know the story but just to refresh all of it. rocky, a young man, seeks power and wealth to fulfill a promise to his dying mother. His quest takes him to Mumbai, where he gets involved with the notorious gold mafia. and an author who once wrote the book is being interviewed by a journalist, and being debated if the story is fiction or a true story. and if you guys have seen kgf 2, you guys must have seen the post-credits scene, kgf 3 is going to happen, but apparently not as soon as we thought. kgf chapter 1 came out in 2018 and chapter 23 came out in 2022, there's a 4-year gap, and rumors were going around that kgf 3 would be out in 2024 but
Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films (who produced KGF Chapter 1 and 2) recently spoke about starting the shoot in October. Now shooting down the rumors, the executive producer of Hombale Films has come to share an update. Taking to Twitter, he said that the film isn’t going on floors anytime soon. It’s really heartbreaking for fans who are waiting for KGF Chapter 3. Let’s hope the production house soon shares some exciting news about the project.

Meanwhile, Vijay Kiragandur had told Dainik Bhaskar, “Director Prashant Neel is currently busy with Salaar. Around 30-35% of the shooting is done. The next schedule is slated to begin next week. We hope to complete it by October-November this year. So, we plan to begin the shoot for KGF after October this year. We hope to release the film by 2024.”
that's it for this one, I'll see you guys in the next one ciao!

I'm sure most of you guys have seen the new spider-man "no way home" which was released yesterday,  (december 17th)I watched it yesterday and it was probably the best spider man movie I've ever seen. I've always been a fan of the Avengers ever since I was a little girl and spiderman was always my favorite "avenger"

With Spider-Man's identity now revealed, our friendly neighborhood web-slinger is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life as Peter Parker from the high stakes of being a superhero. When Peter asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

if you guys have seen the trailer. you know what's going to happen if you guys haven't.... don't watch it, that way what happens at the movies will REALLY surprise you, I'd seen the trailer..... only 2 months ago. so I obviously remember nothing, because I don't even remember watching the trailer, but I did.... because I posted it on my story. i got reminded of the amazing spideeman and the first spider man movies, and since id last seen them when i was a kid..... and so i started rewatching all the spider man movies. and i hope you guys do too! anyway thats it for this blog, i hope you guys enjoyed it, comment down below and let me know what you think about no way home. see you in the next one, ciao!

venom review -By Neha

I and my dad watched venom a few weeks ago, and I really enjoyed it, to be honest. well of course at the beginning of it and the first half of it was well, kind of boring, but the 2nd half of the movie is so interesting and it's so fun, I wish I could watch it for the first time again. actually when we watched it, the last show of venom: let there be carnage, was still in. theatres,  and so we watched the first movie and I really did like it. the movie's about Eddie Brock is still struggling to coexist with the shape-shifting extraterrestrial Venom. When deranged serial killer Cletus Kasady also becomes host to an alien symbiote, Brock and Venom must put aside their differences to stop his reign of terror. starring tom hardy and Michelle Williams.

I think the movie is very friendly and fun, and SPOILERS: I kind of didn't want the venom to get out of him, and I heard that the second part: venom let there be carnage, was a lot more aggressive and that's why we didn't go to the movies,  but I thought the first movie was really nice. anyway, that's it for this blog, I hope you guys liked it, comment down below what you guys think about venom. ciao

lage raho munna bhai! review -By Neha

after watching Munna Bhai mbbs, I was really tempted to watch Lage Raho Munna Bhai, and man this movie was also amazing,

(Munna Bhai MBBS review- https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/10/munnabhai-mbbs-review-by-neha.html

I was pretty confused at first while watching Lage Raho Munna Bhai because there's a completely different ending in Munna Bhai mbbs, and it didn't start with the ending of Munna Bhai, this movie is always really good and I enjoyed it a lot. and of course, Munna Bhai never fails to make you laugh, again in this movie there's the depiction of friendship and love, Lage Raho Munna Bhai stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Vidya Balan, and Boman Irani. it was released on 1st September 2006. A gangster hopelessly falls in love with a radio jockey but lies to her about being a true Gandhian. Although he ends up hurting her, he also undergoes a change and genuinely begins helping people. it definitely a sort of different storyline from Munna Bhai mbbs, nevertheless amazing. and of course, it's also on my top 5 favorite movies list, (the 1st one being titanic of course and the 2nd one being Lagaan, 3rd one being Lage Raho Munna Bhai and the 4th one being Lage Raho Munna Bhai if you guys wanna know what my 5th favorite movie is, read this blog: https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/10/rathnan-prapancha-review-by-neha.html )

there was supposed to be a third part called "Munna Bhai Chale America." but that one never came. which is really disappointing, I really wanted to watch the third part but oh well. what can ya do? I rate Lage Raho Munna Bhai a 4 out of 5, I loved it so much but I just didn't think that it was as good as Munna Bhai mbbs. anyway, that's it for this blog, comment down and let me know what you guys think about Lage Raho Munna Bhai, and I'll see you in the next one, ciao!

munnabhai mbbs review -By Neha

I've actually seen Munna Bhai mbbs once before when I was a kid, but of course, I didn't remember most of it, I kept getting so many Deja Vus while I was watching it. it actually started off when Sanju arrived on Netflix a couple weeks ago, that's when my family and I started watching it. and I saw the mention of Munna Bhai mbbs of course since it was such a huge part of Sanjay Dutt's career. and I do remember watching it but I wanted to watch it again, and that's how it began. I love this movie so much, it ranks 3rd in my top 5 favorite movie list, 1st being titanic of course and second, being Lagaan. it just makes you so happy and you forget everything else and now you're deep into this beautiful world. Munna is a goon who sets out to fulfill his father's dream of becoming a doctor. With some help from his ally, Circuit, he enrolls himself in a medical college and drives Dr. Asthana up the wall. Munna Bhai mbbs came out on 19th December 2003, and the same director who directed Sanju, is the same person for Munna Bhai mbbs as well, who is Rajkumar Hirani. all of Rajkumar Hirani's movies that I've seen are amazing. this movie is literally friends but in a movie. well it's not the exact story of course but it has a very similar goal, which is making everyone smile and laugh, it does that successfully. and oh my god, it is so freaking FUNNY. the thing I find to be really funny in this movie is Munna Bhai and circuit's accent. and there's also a depiction of friendship, family, and love. which makes this movie so beautiful.

and there are some amazing actors in this movie, starring Sanjay Datt and Gracy Singh, Sunil Dutt, Arshad Warsi, and Borman irmani, everyone's acting is just so on point. and Sanjay Dutt has given an incredible performance as Munna Bhai. I rate it a 5 out of 5 stars. (the only other movie, I've rated 5 stars after titnaic)

Rathnan Prapancha review -By Neha

I watched this movie with my family today,  and while I was writing this blog, the movie hadn't ended yet, and I just saw the climax and wow this movie is so beautiful. it's so emotional and it really makes you appreciate everything that you have in life. and the way that the story is written is just marvelous. the movie is available on amazon prime video if you guys want to watch it, and I really recommend it. Rathnan Prapancha is a Kannada film written and directed by Rohit Padaki and produced by Karthik and Yogi G Raj under the banner KRG Studios. Rathan prapancha is one of those movies, you have to watch before you die. this movie is definitely on my top 5 favorite movies list. and all the actors have done such an amazing job. Rathnan Prapancha is a Travel Dramedy that tells the tale of Ratnakara, an average middle-class guy in his late twenties. Unlike his peers who’re already settled and are exploring other avenues in their lives, he’s stuck in a house with an unwanted companion; his mother, Saroja. Just when things couldn’t get any worse Ratnakara gets a phone call that turns his life upside down. the rating for this movie on IMDb is 9.5/10 and 99% likes from Google users.

the music in this movie is also absolutely wonderful. my rating for this movie would have to be 4.5 out of 5 stars. the climax is so meaningful and wonderful, but the entire movie overall, isn't amazing, I felt like there were some unnecessary scenes in between. but if you see the entire movie as a whole, including the climax and everything, it's just wonderful, and i definitely recommend this movie.

titanic (1997) facts. -By Neha Madhukar.

if you guys follow me on Instagram, you guys must know that Titanic is my favorite movie of all time.

(link to my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/itsnehamadhukar/ )

and if you guys have read some other blogs that I've written, (https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/09/facts-about-friends-by-neha.html ) well if you haven't, I research about my favorite tv shows and movies A LOT, and I'm writing this blog because I wanna share my knowledge. and also because I know there are millions of other titanic fans, who would be interested in this topic.

if you guys haven't seen titanic (i bet most of you have) and you don't know the story. well go watch it right now, what are you waiting for! anyway, I'm still gonna explain the story a bit. 17-year-old Rose (Kate Winslet)  hails from an aristocratic family and is set to be married. when she boards the Titanic, she meets Jack Dawson (Leonardo Dicaprio), an artist and she falls in love with him. titanic was released on December 17, 1997. and the movie has been a blockbuster, everyone knew titanic and everyone still does, titanic is the legendary movie which was made in the '90s and nothing like this has ever been released up until date. I love this movie so much, and I've rewatched it 202 times (yeah I keep count.) and I read the movie script 5 times. and if you guys want to know more about how I'm obsessed, check out this blog: https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/02/how-i-am-obsessed-with-titanic-by-neha.html

1. It cost more to make Titanic the movie than Titanic the ship. Cameron and the company spent $200 million to make the film in 1997, while the ship cost $7.5 million. As "time" pointed out in 2016, that number would be $180 million after adjusted inflation. and the funny thing that I just realized is that they built another titanic and filmed a movie about it and they sunk it, isn't the ship that James Cameron built for this movie the titanic 2? but well I found fact to be bizarre but it also makes sense, since the original Titanic was built 84 years before they built the "movie prop" and so, of course, it's going to be much more expensive than what was built 84 years ago, 109 years ago now. and if someone tried to build the same ship today, it would certainly be a lot more expensive than the titanic James Cameron built.

2. the underwater footages of the titanic at the beginning of the movie are footage from the real Titanic, James Cameron took. I didn't know this, but my dad did, and he explained it, the first time I watched the movie.... when I was a bit older. (the actual first time I watched titanic was when I was 8, and all of my friends and cousins have seen the movie at the age of 8 years old.) we watched it in 3D and all the beautiful stardust was just mesmerizing to our eyes. and that scene just gives you goosebumps. and the music which plays right at the beginning of the movie is so beautiful, but when you rewatch titanic, all the music and everything just hits different, at the beginning of the movie, while the song plays, you're thinking "such beautiful music" and when you're rewatching it, you're just crying. that's it. Two of Cameron's passions—filmmaking and diving—blended in his work on the movies The Abyss and Titanic. ... He has made 72 deep submersible dives, including 33 to Titanic, logging more hours on that ship than Captain Smith himself. Of these dives, 51 were in Russian Mir submersibles to depths of up to 16,000 feet. James Cameron went on 12 dives to the real Titanic himself and found it an overwhelming emotional experience to actually see the sunken ship. During his first trip, he was so goal-oriented that he managed to film the shots he wanted, but as soon as he was back on the surface, he broke down in tears after finally realizing the magnitude of the historic tragedy that he had just witnessed. He ended up spending more time with the ship than its living passengers did.

3. if all the present-day scenes (1996) were deleted leaving only those taken place in 1912, the film would run for exactly 2 hours and 40 minutes - the exact time it took for Titanic to sink. when I read this, my mind was blown. and when it said 2 hours and 40 minutes, that rang a bell and it made so much sense. these kinds of hidden meanings from directors in movies, I'm all in for. and if I were ever to be a director, I would do something like this. James Cameron is just an amazing director, he hasn't directed a lot of movies, but the ones that he does, all of his movies have been blockbusters, avatar, which is the highest-grossing movie in the current day. and the terminator, and titanic, which I'm pretty sure everyone can agree with, is the best movie that he's ever made. and I was so obsessed with this movie, that I even started listening to a podcast about it. called "James Cameron's titanic, scene by scene"

and listening to this podcast made me feel amazing, as they were explaining the behind-the-scenes and how it was all done, it made me relive the movie. I truly loved and enjoyed the podcast.

4. James Cameron didn't want an actual song with lyrics in the film, not even over the closing credits (he thought it didn't fit tonally)  but composer late James Horner (RIP) however, was struggling to end the movie on a strongly emotional note, so, He secretly arranged with lyricist Will Jennings and singer Céline Dion to write "My Heart Will Go On", using the central musical theme of the movie as a melody. A demo tape was recorded with most of 20th Century Fox top brass in attendance, who loved the song. Horner then presented the recording to Cameron, who responded very favorably, although he had no idea who the singer was (when told it was his fellow Canadian Celine Dion, he responded: "Oh, she's big, right?"). He included the song over the closing credits, and it went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song. and turns out Celine Dion wasn't actually interested in recording the demo version, but her late husband René Angélil and her manager convinced her to record it, she revealed it herself in the James Corden show.

5. Jennifer Aniston could have been Rose, James Cameron considered some of the most popular actresses at that time, and of course, Jennifer was one of them, Jennifer Aniston was considered the "it" girl in the '90s. because of her role in friends, of course. and I freaked out when I found out about this. friends is my favorite tv show, and it was so popular, and I know so many people think it's overrated and disgusting, but there's one thing I wanna tell those people. read this: https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/09/why-friends-is-not-overrated-by-neha.html anyway, but of course, she wasn't offered the role, she was just considered for it, and I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have turned it down if she would have but that would've been her decision, and of course she was also busy with friends (with the tv show friends and with her friends, the cast of friends) at the time. but apparently, Kate Winslet read the script and she "wept buckets" (who was 19 at the time) and she knew she would do anything to get this role, and she sent James Cameron a dozen of roses, and signed them with "from your rose"
and I mean I'm also glad kate got the role, but I'm also mad at James because I know that Jen would've done an amazing job in playing rose, I know so many people cant picture her as rose, neither could I, and it's probably because everyone saw her as Rachel for 10 years, but she definitely could've pulled it off. and there are so many other a lister actors who could've starred in titanic, check out this blog if you guys wanna know! https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/05/22-actors-who-could-have-starred-in.html

6. titanic was actually filmed in a 17 million gallon tank, not a swimming pool (I've heard that so many times) James Cameron revealed that himself on the Oprah show. The post-sinking scenes were shot in a 350,000 gallon (1,300,000 L) tank where the frozen corpses were created by applying a powder on the actors that then crystallized when exposed to water. Wax was applied to hair and clothes to create a wet look. when I found out that it was filmed in a 17 million gallon tank, I was blown. 17 MILLION?! and do you guys remember the iconic scene from titanic, and didn't the sunset look beautiful, well turns that the sunset was real!

I thought that the sunset must have probably been computer-generated  (CGI) or green screen, but it was real, and since it was a real sunset, they only had a couple of minutes to film the perfect shot,  they'd have to wait for the next day if they messed up. Titanic was shot at Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and Fox Baja Studios in Rosarito, Mexico.
The set had been purposely built at a seaside location to capture natural light, and eight days of filming were available to capture the bow shot kissing scene. For obvious reasons, there were only a few minutes per day to shoot the scene, but every time, something wasn't quite right. The crew resorted to filming rehearsal shots in the hope that conditions would improve the next day. The final day had an overcast sky, so no one expected to get a better shot. But just before the day was about to end, the sky suddenly cleared. James Cameron quickly scrambled the crew together, Kate Winslet was hastily pulled out of make-up, and the scene was finished just before another cloud appeared. Due to all the haste, the shot was slightly out of focus, but Cameron nevertheless considered it the perfect sunset he had been waiting for, and this is the shot that ended up in the movie. Even though Cameron is a huge advocate for computer-generated effects, he admitted that the magic that they captured on camera that day would have been hard, if not impossible to replicate with CGI.

7. (at around 10 mins) Upon discovering the sketch of young Rose, Brock Lovett says "I'll be goddamned". These were the exact words of Dr. Robert Ballard upon his discovery of the Titanic wreck. I remember asking my dad why he said that when I watched it for the second time last year, and that's very interesting, and I love that James Cameron did that.

8. On the final night of shooting in Nova Scotia, one or more criminals mixed the dissociative hallucinogen PCP (angel dust) into the clam chowder served to the cast and crew. 80 people were taken ill, and more than 50 were taken to the hospital (87-year-old Gloria Stuart was fortunately spared because she had dined elsewhere). Initially, shellfish poisoning was suspected, but when James Cameron noticed that one crew member was demanding to see a priest, the director of photography was leading a conga line, and the assistant director was talking to Cameron over a walkie-talkie while looking straight at him (she even stabbed him in the cheek with a pen when he brought this up to her), he realized that the chowder had been spiked with hallucinogenic drugs. In absence of a purging agent, he forced himself to vomit before the drug took full effect; his bloodshot eyes afterward frightened other crew members into thinking that it was another side effect of the drug. Bill Paxton felt listless for two weeks after the incident (although PCP's primary effects only last a few hours, the drug itself can take eight or more days to completely metabolize out of the body). The culprit(s) were never caught; some disgruntled crew members who had been fired were suspected, but Cameron himself always believed that it was an ex-crew member who had had an argument with the caterer and subsequently poisoned the chowder in an attempt to get the caterer fired as well. this was something I had no idea about, but ow, that's huge.

9. Following her grueling experience on the film, which included a rigorous filming schedule as well as experiencing many hardships and bruises, Kate Winslet said, "You'd have to pay me an awful lot of money to work with James Cameron again" (apparently, her request was granted, because she has been confirmed to appear in Cameron's Avatar 2 (2022)). Leonardo DiCaprio also acknowledged it was a tough shoot, yet he stated that if he would ever do another action movie, he would want Cameron as director. but well, of course, it was a rigorous experience and I'm pretty sure he was strict because he wanted the movie to come out perfect, and it did, there is nothing wrong with titanic. everything is just perfect, and if you compare the titanic that James Cameron built, it looks identical to the real titanic. since the movie is perfect, it was the highest-grossing movie of all time.... until the end game and avatar came along, but to my surprise, avatar is still the highest-grossing movie of all time, considering that it was released 12 years ago. and I'm thrilled that Kate Winslet will be starring in titanic. but I wish Leonardo DiCaprio to also star in avatar 2. it would feel like titanic 2, which we never got, and I know that most of it was based on true events which were why there isn't a part 2, but if he did make part 2 of titanic, it would be interesting if the story was if jack lived.

10. The first Best Picture Academy Award winner to be produced, directed, written, and edited by the same person James Cameron. he was probably the first person, who's movie I've seen which has been directed, written, produced, and edited by the same person.

matthew perry is replaced in the new netflix movie "don't look up"? -by Neha

As you guys know, there's a new movie called "don't look up" starring all the stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothe chalamet, Ariana grande, cate Blanchett, jonah hill, and Matthew perry... BUT GUESS WHAT, Matthew perry is now being replaced by someone else,

I also wrote a blog about this a few weeks ago. here's the link if you guys wanna read it: https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/07/dont-look-up-netflix-movie-by-neha.html

to be honest Matthew perry was the one who I was looking forward to, but Matthew perry is an amazing actor and, he was in my favorite tv show (and the really popular sitcom) "friends" obviously I like all the other actors too. I mean Leonardo DiCaprio was in my favorite movie (and the best) titanic. and he's my favorite actor and stuff but so are Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt Leblanc (right after Leo)

Netflix tweeted this tweet 2 hours ago:

\

I wrote this blog because I saw this tweet and I checked the cast of don't look up but in the cast, it says Matthew perry plays dan pawketty, but I did see an article that said Matthew perry was being replaced, and it also said that he did have a role in the movie but it was a smaller part. and he isn't in the trailer anywhere. so I'm still not exactly sure, don't take my word for it, but I think he probably won't be in the movie, but if he is, that will make me very happy.
and we also just got the release date for the movie! it will be releasing on 24th December, yes! on Christmas eve. that sounds pretty exciting, and it's only 3 months away!
wow, I can't believe it's almost been a year since I've seen (and loved) titanic for the second time. yes, I said the second time, click the link here if you want to understand what I exactly mean: https://krmadhukar.blogspot.com/2021/02/how-i-am-obsessed-with-titanic-by-neha.html
that's it for this one, I hope you guys liked it, comment down below what you think about this movie and the trailer! ill catch you guys in the next one ciao!

my opinions on la casa de papel a.k..a money heist

I'm pretty sure most of you know this tv show called "la casa de Papel" a.k.a money heist.

this is a very popular tv series on Netflix which is originally in Spanish but I'm sure you guys have seen it in English.
this is why I think that the tv show is called la casa de Papel (which translates to "the house of paper" in Spanish) because they raid the bank, and the bank is the place where they print money (in la casa de Papel) and that's why its called la casa de Papel.
and the intro looks like the picture above.

When Money Heist made its debut on Spanish television in 2017, nobody knew that three years down the line, it would become the most-watched non-English language series on Netflix globally. Created by Álex Pina, Money Heist has an ensemble cast comprising of actors like Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Coberó, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente and Esther Acebo, among others. It was recently renewed for its fifth and final season by the streaming giant. It, however, debuted on Spanish network Antena 3 in 2017 as La Casa de Papel, which means The Paper House. It got the name Money Heist when Netflix acquired it for its international audience.
and it was also supposed to be a limited series with 2 episodes. but it had a lot to the story.
and you guys must have seen the fifth season, but I didn't know that it was the last season until my dad told me.
I started watching season 1 yesterday and I'm already on season 2 today...
my dad used to watch it when it first came out in 2017, and he loved it (obviously) but I was also watching it with him before and I didn't like it, because I thought that there was a lot of violence. it is violent, but now that I'm older I feel like it wasn't just violence. there's also a lot of beautiful moments about life and family and friends, I love this show, it's my 3rd favorite TV SHOW. I meant tv show, not movie so the first is not titanic, if you guys can guess what my 1st and 2nd tv shows are, comment down below!
that's it for this one, I'll catch you guys in the next one, ciao!

he's all that might be the worst teen movie of 2021 so far?

he's all that is a new Netflix movie starring Addison rae, who is a huge tik tok star with over 83 million followers on TikTok. he's all that is a remake of the 90's teen hit film "she's all that"

(but the genders are reversed) starring Freddie Prinze jr. (who is also in this movie.) and Rachel Leigh cook (who plays the main character's mother in he's all that) Addison rae is good at dancing don't get me wrong, but acting just isn't for her, she looked emotionless when she was delivering lines that were meant to be emotional. I'm sure you guys have seen very bad reviews stating that this movie's cringy and bad......

and that's because it is. it is cringy and bad. he's all that is an exact retelling of she's all that. it wasn't needed. and nobody asked for it. and Kourtney Kardashian's also in it. it would've been better if Kourtney Kardashian was herself. the story follows Padgett swayer who is an influencer much like Addison Rae, and she specializes in makeovers, and she makes a bet to turn an unpopular classmate into prom king. and she falls in love with him. (no this is not a spoiler because it's revealed in the trailer)
and YouTubers keep roasting this movie and well, to be honest, it's fun to watch.
although it's cringy it's not all bad. there are some parts that are nice and sweet.
and that's it for this one, I'll catch you guys in the next one, ciao!

Mimi movie review- By Neha

Me and my family watched the new movie released on Netflix called “Mimi” yesterday and the story is basically about a couple from America who were trying to find a surrogate to have their baby and they find this dancer who they liked and wanted as their surrogate "Mimi" who is played by Kriti Sanon, who by the way did such an amazing performance in this movie. and you guys are just gonna have to watch the movie to know what happens next, and in my opinion DO NOT WATCH THE TRAILER! I definitely loved the movie, so much. but I just don't think that you guys should watch the trailer because there is too much revelation of some of the plots. I didn't watch the trailer as well, so it was unexpected.

and there's another thing that I wanted to mention. Kriti Sanon doesn't seem like a small-town girl, she looks very posh in it, but nevertheless, her acting was amazing. and in some of the scenes, her accent wasn't there anymore.

and I thought the story was really beautiful, but the movie was actually supposed to be released on Friday 30th July, but they released it yesterday (27th july)  because it was leaked. and now you don't have to watch it illegally, it's streaming on Netflix and jio studios, and it's already trending #1 on Netflix!

Mimi is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film written and directed by Laxman Utekar and co-written by Rohan Shankar, which is a remake of the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy! by Samruddhi Porey. Jointly produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films and Jio Studios.

SPOILER ALERT! (or not, it's already revealed in the trailer)

when john and summer abandon her, you just wanna throw things at the tv, I almost threw a shoe, (true story, and so did my family honestly)

the first half is amazing too, but the second half is soo emotional, you will definitely cry, and it's not depressing either, it's like you get so involved with the family that you feel something for them too.

I'm not gonna lie this is the only movie that I have cried to, yeah that's true, I haven't even cried when I was watching titanic. I know right, it sounds crazy because you know I LOVE it, but that's the truth. and speaking of there's a reference in Mimi about titanic and that's just a plus point for me.

so I rate it 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

that's it for this blog, comment down below what you guys think of the movie and i'll see you guys in the next one, ciao!
