How I am obsessed with TITANIC!! By Neha

  hello everyone... I'm Neha and it's been a while since I've posted and I thought it would be nice to let you know about my experience watching the movie "TITANIC" I watched on the projector in my home and in 3D and it was amazing it all felt so real.. and I'm head over heels with the movie. I did watch the movie once when I was 8 years old and I didn't really understand what the movie was about so I didn't really notice and care about the movie so much. But now that I'm older and I understood the movie and truly loved it, it's an old movie it was released 23 years ago! it's so crazy because a lot of people are still talking about a movie that was released 23 years ago.. and it is really inspiring a new generation and it's just beautiful how the movie was shot... James Cameron as the director has done an amazing job. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio have also done an amazing job as their characters (Jack and Rose).. and my dad being such a movie buff. He told me a lot of things that I didn't know about the movie and he was 19 years old when he watched the movie and he also fell head over heels with the movie and watched it in the theatre 4 times!! and also my mom says that my dad watched the movie over 50 times! and I have already watched it on Hotstar over 30 times! I also started to listen to a podcast called @titanicscenebyscene and I truly loved the podcast a lot too I learned a lot from the podcast too. It's like even though you've watched the movie a million times you're still discovering something new! it was the same with me. When I was listening to the podcast I learned a lot and saw the scene from that perspective and it really made sense like when the iceberg hits and the music that is played is the same music that is played when "leaving port" except that "leaving port" is a lot more relaxed But when the iceberg hits its more of panic music.

I even up a poster of the titanic on my bedroom wall and that explains how much I love this movie and also time to talk about the beautiful song "my heart will go on..." by Celine Dion and this is my favorite song and also my favorite movie... "SPOILER ALERT" I also teared up when jack dies and it's just so sad and even after finishing the movie the next day wen watched all of the topics related to titanic and behind the scenes and all of the deleted scenes and we watched it on the projector again.. this will always remain my favorite movie ever!!! so that's it for this post. Watching TENET movie during COVID in PVR IMAX Bangalore !! 😳

Curious to know my experience of watching a movie in a cinema hall/theatre during COVID?? 

Watch my video !! The intention of making this video is to show you how it feels to be visiting a theatre during the COVID era and the level of sanitisation and precautions exercised by a theatre like PVR so that you can make up your mind if you want to visit the theatre or not!

Though the theatres opened up in india in October, for most of them this will be their first visit since the start of this pandemic as this is the first significant new Hollywood film release in India.

There was no physical contact involved at the box office as booking was already done using the BookMyShow app. I just used the wallet app from my Apple Watch to scan the QR code to gain entry into the theatre. No physical contact for frisking the patrons. Only temperature check was done at the entrance.

The temperature maintained in the theatre was around 26 degrees I believe and I had to remove my jacket post interval. 

The theatres are operating at 50% capacity as directors by the Govt of India. There are yellow strips marked for every alternative seats ensuring sufficient social distance.

No problems with ordering food as I used a QR code to go through their menu and made the payment through the PVR app. I had to quickly run and pick the order as the helpers delivering food orders into the cinema hall has been stopped.

The film is all about saving the world, the favourite theme for most blockbuster Hollywood films. Tenet from Christopher Nolan has his typical experimental narrative playing around with the concept of time, a new concept called inverse entropy and the riveting climax involving the ‘Algorithm’.

I guess this is the most spoiler free version of explaining the overall concept of Tenet 😊.

The action sequences are chilling and I was mighty surprised to learn that most of the scenes were shot in real with least amount of CG or green screens.

 Tandoori Chai is made using the tandoori oven. The earthen pot or kullad is heated in the tandoori oven and dipped into the piping hot tea for that nice Smokey flavour in your tea server in the kullad.

ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಯುಗ ಶುರುವಾಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೆಟ್ರೊನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಒಂದು ಸಾಧಾರಣ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಶುರುವಾದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ ವರೆಗೂ ಮೆಟ್ರೊ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಸ್ತಭ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮೆಟ್ರೊ ಪುನಃ ಆರಂಭವಾದಾಗಿನಿಂದ ಜನರ ಮನಸಿನಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೂ ಭಯ ದೂರವಾದಂಗಿಲ್ಲ. 

ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ. ಮಾಸ್ಕ್ ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟೈಸರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಅಂತರ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ ಆದರೆ ಭಯ ಪಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. 

ಎನೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಈ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಟ್ರೊ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಒಂದು ಸಾಹಸವೇ ಸರಿ.
